Ryan Hassler
Dr. Ryan Hassler is currently an Associate Professor of Teaching Mathematics and spent the first part of his career teaching college preparatory mathematics at Wyomissing High School (Pennsylvania) and K-12’s Keystone National High School.
Ryan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Mathematics Education from Clarion University of Pennsylvania, a Master of Science degree in Applied Statistics from Villanova University and a PhD in Mathematics and Science Education from Temple University.
Ryan has extensive experience with implementing best practices for teaching and learning mathematics in both face-to-face and virtual instructional environments. Over the past 15 years, Ryan has been involved with the College Board AP program and has mentored countless number of students through their transition from high school to college.
Professionally, Ryan’s research revolves around designing and implementing summer bridge programs for first year college engineering students. Through this work, he has presented at numerous national conferences and has been awarded several recognitions for his work in establishing pathways for student success.
Ryan has a true passion for helping middle and high school students maximize their educational potential via establishing and enhancing successful learning habits. He is eager to welcome you to The Collegescape and looks forward to embracing the opportunity to help you and your college-bound students explore and navigate the landscape of higher education.
